Sadly, that doesn't seem to be in the cards, at least not according to a recent interview with the legendary Hironobu Sakaguchi (boss of Mistwalker). With side quests, it could easily exceed 100 hours. It's safe to say the game is between 40-60 hours just for the main quest without sidequests. I'm thinking about getting it one day because Lost Odyssey is one of my all time favorite games. The story is the driving force behind both and Lost Odyssey wins there, imo. Between Lost Odyssey and FFXIII though Lost Odyssey hands down. With the industry still not over its phase of remastering older games for newer hardware, it obviously makes sense that fans of developer Mistwalker are curious if the acclaimed developer would be interested in reissuing its classics on modern platforms.
